Dog Sled Multiday Tour

Scenic dog sled tour to one of 3 different destinations around Ammassalik Island.

How many days you want to be out is up to you, but we have a minimum of 1 night. We will be staying in heated huts. 

There will be possibility to see nothern lights, try snowshoeing, icefishing or maybe sailing depending on destination. 

The destinations

Pupik - This is a area in Sermilikfjord where we find 5 small huts and one big hut with kitchen and dining area. 
Each hut has 2 beds and own heating source. In Pupik you have the possibility to strap on a pair of snowshoes and hike to a nearby viewpoint, with view over the majestic sermilik icefjord. 

Tiniteqilaaq - This is a settlement placed in Sermilik Icefjord. Here we will find a hut a house to stay in. 
There lives around 80 people in Tiniteqilaaq. Here you will have a beautiful view over the fjord and you will be able to explorer the daily life in a small settlement on the edge of the world. Here it might also possible to hire a local hunter to sail with you. 

Qernduardi - In Qernduardi we find and abandonned settlment and serveral "summerhouses" for locals from Tasiilaq. Qerdunardi is a very good area for icefishing where it is possilbe to catch Redfish, Halibut, Greenlandic Shark and trout. This is deep sea fishing at 200 - 400 meter. 

In Qernduardi we will be staying in one single hut. 

Duration between Tasiilaq and the 3 destinations is apx 4 - 6 hours.
